Grace Street Victorian

This one is near and dear — a true labour of love - the designing, gutting, and renovating of our first home. A traditional semi-Victorian in the heart of Trinity Bellwoods, this house hadn’t been touched since the 60s when it transferred ownership from the original owner to his niece. We took it back to the studs, bringing it into the 21st century and offering it a second life.

We designed the space in a very neutral palette, knowing it wasn’t our forever home, and we wanted to create a space we could live in and love and then pass on to its next chapter. We got creative with storage — usually a sore spot in these tall, skinny homes. The house marries form and function in (dare I say) perfect tandem.
